Abraham prepared to sacrifice his isaac
Many times, it seems, God asks us to 'lay down' our precious 'Isaac's. In those times we can often begin to relate, somewhat, to Abraham when he was asked to sacrifice his son, Isaac. Our 'Isaac' could be our dreams and visions, people in our lives, careers, businesses, talents, or whatever God is asking at the time. These can be painful times, but may we also be reminded that God provided an answer that Abraham AND ISAAC knew nothing about...until they BOTH expressed their faith in God by taking obedient steps of faith. It was THEN that God came through with the impossible in order to provide so 'Isaac' could be spared...but it was in GOD's TIMING and in GOD'S WAY.
