God Delights to Turn What the Enemy Means for Evil, to Good
descriptive text My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me? Matt 27:46 (NIV) "...When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature,God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross." Col. 2:13-15
This familiar question is one not only asked by a betrayed Jesus, but most likely also by His Mother. What looks, to us, like a 'forsaking' in the times when Jesus is asking us to 'lay down our lives', 'deny ourselves' or 'count the cost', turns out, as we trust in Him, to be a triumph as God takes what the enemy means for evil and turns it around for GOOD for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
