My SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE - John 10
Sometimes we are not aware, or forget, that Jesus says that HIS SHEEP HEAR HIS VOICE. We often think that we - even though we are His sheep - do not hear Him. Yes, we also hear other voices and need to increasingly learn to discern which voices are from Him, from ourselves or elsewhere, but the more we assume that what Jesus says here is true and begin to test these things out by acting (by faith) on the things we sense and 'hear' as He impresses them on us, the more we will learn to recognize that He IS speaking to us and the more confidence we will receive as we continue to follow Him. How are sheep led? They are led by the voice of their Shepherd, for one thing. Psalm 23 says that Jesus is our Shepherd. Unless something is clearly in opposition to His Word, may you be encouraged to grow in your understanding and experience that YOU DO HEAR HIS VOICE if you are one of His sheep.
