Jesus - Our Scapegoat

Have you ever felt like you're the 'scapegoat' of others? If so, may Jesus, our Scapegoat, reveal to your heart and mind that HE has been made the Scapegoat as He took our sins on Himself when He died for us, so that we are free from having to take on that role.

"But the goat chosen by lot as the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the LORD to be used for making atonement by sending it into the desert as a scapegoat." Leviticus 16:10 Leviticus 16:26 "The man who releases the goat as a scapegoat must wash his clothes and bathe himself with water; afterward he may come into the camp." Hebrews 13:13 "Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore." (NIV)

One that is made to bear the blame of others.
Bible. A live goat over whose head Aaron confessed all the sins of the children of Israel on the Day of Atonement. The goat, symbolically bearing their sins, was then sent into the wilderness. See helpful article
