The Lion of Judah 'mining' treasures out of the darkness
"I will go before you and will level the mountains ; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name." Isaiah 45:2,3 (NIV)
May our hearts be encouraged that His 'Lion of Judah' Spirit resides within us as we are led by His Spirit. So may we take courage and move forward into the dark places in our lives He sometimes leads us into in order to see Him break down the barriers presently keeping us from the riches He wants to reveal to us in those often very difficult and painful places - in our own lives or in the lives of those He is using us to minister to. The purple lion represents God's royalty in us as King's kids, and the miner's light on the lion's forhead represents the Light of the World whose light shines through us.
