Averting His Eyes
Recently I was at a place, spiritually, where I felt like Jesus was revealing to my heart that I had been 'averting His eyes' in some areas of my life (as in the foreground). And as depicted in the background scene, He let me see that He wanted me to delight in Him as we looked fully into each other's faces. As He ministered to my heart that night through His love and encouragement as He brought to my heart various affirming Scriptures about that, He again began to restore that sense of being accepted by Him because of what He has accomplished for me on the cross by His love, mercy and grace!
